Carmelo Anthony Was Unimpressed With The U.S.A Men's Basketball Sing-Along
This is what the phrase "over it" looks like.
Team U.S.A's Men's Basketball team was making their way to Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games when they joined in on a sing-along to Vanessa Carlton's 15-year-old pop hit, "A Thousand Miles." And it seemed like everyone was lit -- except for Carmelo Anthony who looked utterly unmoved by the group karaoke.
Golden State Warriors player, Draymond Green kicked off the epic song, which was first made popular by Marlon and Shawn Wayans' 2004 blockbuster hit, White Chicks.
It seemed to be a family affair, as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, and more joined in for some country music action singing all of the lyrics. However, Knicks star Carmelo was seen in DeMarcus Cousins' Instagram video slumped in his window seat, epitomizing the expression "over it."
It's cool; not everyone's a country music fanatic. Let's hope Melo is a little more enthusiastic come August 5, when the Olympics officially commences.
