It’s always great to try new things, right? During the off-season, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is putting his performance skills to the test.

While traveling to the Essence Festival with his fiancée, Ciara, over the weekend, the duo had the time of their lives.

Wilson threw it back to the 90s, singing “Lady Dujour” by Jonny Gill to his future wife, as she blushed in the background.

The pair later took their plane chronicles to the streets of New Orleans, creating their own music video that will have your stomach in knots. Unfortunately, Wilson’s vocals weren’t up to par, and Ciara joked, telling the football player to stick to his day job.
