In case you don’t know already, it’s hard out here for boys in the hood.Take it from Philly-born-ATL-bred DJ Drama — who recently linked with Meek Mill, Pusha T and Ty Dolla $ign on for the ghetto youth.

Over drum machines and a humming sample, the ghetto boys take turns waxing about their experiences of growing up in the slums. L.A. native, Ty Dolla comes through with a soulful God-inspired hook that offers hope, which is exactly what the ‘hood needs. Hope.

And always, Drama ends the song with his signature encouraging words.

“We don’t choose the life we’re given. We just try to make the best out the life we’re given. Circumstances don’t define you. Your choices do. You know what your biggest blessing is? Tomorrow.”

“Boyz In The Hood” comes just one week before the release of Drama’s Quality Street Music 2, and features Lil Wayne, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Trey Songz, August Alsina, Ty Dolla $ign, T.I., Post Malone, Freddie Gibbs, Mac Miller, and many more.

The first installment of Dram’s Quality Street Music series was released back in 2011, and featured the hit song, “My Moment” with 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Jeremih.
