‘The Land’s’ Star Ezzy Says “Goodbye” To The Streets


Veteran rapper Nas is executive producing the highly anticipated film, The Land, which follows a group of Cleveland teenagers as they chase dreams of becoming professional skateboarders.

Nasir also handled executive producer duties on the film’s soundtrack. The first single, “Goodbye,” comes from budding rapper, Ezzy, who also stars in the film. Over a soulful instrumental — produced by Rafi Gavron — who also stars in the film, Ezzy effortlessly flows through the his story about leaving the streets to chase a record deal or college degree –whichever came first.

The Land, directed by Steven Caple Jr., will feature Erykah Badu, Machine Gun Kelly, Michael K Williams of The Wire, Kim Coates of Sons of Anarchy and others. The film will hit theaters on July 29th as well as the soundtrack, which you can pre-order at iTunes.
