Premiere: Machel Montano Has His Eyes Set In His “I Forget” Video

Caribbean music cures all when you are feeling down and out. With all the madness in the world today, crooner Machel Montano tapped into his island roots on the soca-influenced dance track,”I Forget.”

Today (July 19), VIBE premieres the the energetic summer video for his new single. On the song, the passionate Montano┬átakes to the streets — alongside beautiful dancers and musicians — as he sings of the differences that form a bond with him and his lady

Not only does “I Forget” send out positive vibes, it screams at listeners to hit the dance floor. Most importantly, the powerful lyrics encourage people to accept people from other backgrounds and races.

Machel has been making music since he was 7-years-old. And he’s performed all over the world — from New York City’s Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall — to Coachella and the U.K.

Also, “I Forget” will be featured in the upcoming film, Bazodee, which opens in theatres on Aug. 5.
