Queens Rapper Shirt Spreads Knowledge On “Summer Not Coming”

A couple years ago Queens rapper, Shirt, wrote a fake New York Times article– and named veteran hip-hop journalist Jon Caramanica as the author — about how potent his music is. Well, the ploy worked because it got people talking about Shirt.

And, he’s not a bad rapper if that’s what you’re thinking — he’s actually nice as f**k. His new single, “Summer Not Coming,” not only showcases his fluid flow, but his strong and meaningful, at times hilarious, content as well.

Produced by Spectacular Diagnostics, Shirt exercises his ’90s era inspired flow on everything from having battle scars, murder rate rising, praying for kids and aspirations for learning to play violin and learn a new language.

Also check out his tracks “Famous All My Life,” “Poor People’s March” and his Nike Adidas Records.
