Come On Quan: Twitter Goes In On Rich Homie After Biggie Song Flub

Last night’s (Jul. 11)  Vh1 “Hip Hop Honors” celebrated the groundbreaking hip-hop careers of Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa/ DJ Spinderella and Lil’ Kim.

During Lil’ Kim’s performance of the legendary Junior M.A.F.I.A song “Get Money,” she was accompanied by rapper Rich Homie Quan, who was meant to do the Notorious B.I.G’s verse. However, he didn’t seem to have the same flow as the legendary MC…meaning, he did not know the words to the anthem he was performing and struggled through while the Queen B picked up the slack. Yiiiiikes.

Not surprisingly, Twitter had a field day with the embarrassing moment, questioning why he was asked to perform in the tribute in the first place.
