Richard Cabral Set To Return For 'American Crime' Season 3
The actor will rejoin Regina King and Felicity Huffman for the show's third season
Actor and writer Richard Cabral's miraculous turnaround from drug addict and former convict to Emmy-nominated actor is one tale that is tailor-made for the movies. Following two successful stints of the critically acclaimed ABC anthology series American Crime, Cabral is poised to expand his acting repertoire once again. According to Deadline, the actor is set to return for the third season of John Ridley's much lauded mini-series.
For his portrayal of Hector Tontz in the series' first season, Cabral earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a movie at the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards. Just recently, Cabral was seen on the second season of American Crime as Sebastian De La Torre, a vigilante computer hacker hellbent on getting justice for a victim of sexual assault. Cabral is now the third actor to join the show's third season, following the inclusion of seasoned acting veterans Regina King and Felicity Huffman.
