Shad ‘Bow Wow’ Moss Says His ‘Mixed Race’ Is Why He Can’t Relate To Civil Rights Issues


Shad Moss, formerly known as Bow Wow, has become an increasingly interesting character over the past decade. Once a cute, prepubescent rapping sensation founded by the legendary Snoop Dogg, now a big-screen actor, father and occasional pot-stirrer, Moss is definitely not the same little boy we all fell in love with in the early 2000s. He’s a man, but did wisdom come with that maturity?

Wednesday night (July 27) the Lottery Ticket actor responded to a fan’s question of who he would be voting for in the upcoming election, expressing his indifference.

When a Twitter user cited the years black people fought for the right to vote as a reason for the former 106 & Park host to care about politics, Moss had this to say:

And with this one tweet, the flood gates opened. Outraged fans poured into Moss’ mentions, criticizing his dismissal of such a prominent struggle for black people in America.
