Vic Mensa can really rap. Not only are his rhymes colorful, but he never fails to tackle topics the hinder Black America — even when he freestyles.

Recently, the Chicago native visited London’s BBC Radio with DJ Semtex. While there, Semtex threw on Pusha T’s “Numbers on Board” instrumental. And of course, Vic got busy.

For a little over three minutes, the Roc Nation artist delivers witticisms, and he touches on Justin Timberlake, gun control, MLK and other topics.

Back in June, Mensa released his mixtape, There’s a lot Going On, which contains the deeply personal song of the same name, and the politically-charged “16 Shots.”

Recently, Mensa canceled a show in Detroit after personnel from the venue allegedly made racists remarks.
