Young Buck Says People Have The Right To Protect Themselves Against ‘Crooked Police Officers’
Earlier this month, Young Buck dropped his new song “The Get Back” inspired by the killing of five police officers in Dallas, Texas. The song blatantly encourages violence against police officers in lyrics such as, “I just seen some killers get some get back/I try to tell these police that we with that.”
On Wednesday (July 13), the former G-Unit rapper was questioned about the message of the song, and he stood by his words.
“I do feel like, just us as people, we do got the right to be able to protect our lives from those crooked police officers that feel like they got the right to come take your innocent life,” the Straight Outta Cashville rapper said on TMZ Live yesterday afternoon (July 13).
Although Buck says he extends his condolences to the families of the slain officers in Dallas, he also believes that people have the right to defend themselves.
“I didn’t even make it to TMZ Live until an innocent life was taken,” he said. “Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.”
