Z-Ro Delivers More Houston Anthems On His ‘Drankin’ N Drivin’ Album

Texas veteran Z-RO has just added another chapter to his growing catalog. It’s 2016, and his impact on hip-hop culture is undeniable. Everyone from A$AP Rocky to Drake — who has been known to perform Z Ro’s classic freestyle, “Mo City Don” — have been influenced by the Houston legend.

Well today (July 15), the self-proclaimed Rother Vandross unleashed his new album, Drankin’ N Drivin,’ on his 1 Deep Entertainment label. For the most part, Ro sides solo on the 13-track effort. Only Krazie Bone shows up on “Since We Lost Y’all.”

As always, the Mo City Don waxes poetically about his struggles, determination, social issues, and fakes on Drinkin’ N Drivin’. Last week, Ro linked with long-time collaborator Mike Dean on the aggressive, “No Justice No Peace.”
