Aretha Franklin Cancels Forthcoming Concerts To Focus On Her Health

Aretha’s musical career is starting to take a toll on her health, and it’s important she focuses on herself for a few and slow down, so some well needed rest has been ordered.

The legendary icon recently announced she will be canceling her forthcoming concerts for the next month or so due to doctors’ orders. Franklin will no longer be attending her appearance at Radio City Music Hall’s “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90″ concert in New York, the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, her solo concert on September 23rd, along with a few other gigs.

Hopefully she’s able to gather herself within the next month and won’t need to cancel any more business endeavors.
