Azealia Banks Retires From Social Media To Protect Her 'Legacy'
The controversial rapper is tired of it all.
Azealia Banks has said goodbye to social media "for good."
After a slew of controversies just this year ranging from her racist and homophobic remarks toward singer Zayn Malik, which ultimately resulted in the suspension of her Twitter account, to her Twitter feud with Disney star Skai Jackson, Banks is known in the social media world for controversy. However, Tuesday night (August 2) the rapper made it clear she's officially ending her relationship with social media.
In a Facebook post, Banks began her goodbye with "I'm seriously tired of other peoples feelings." She went on to say she's "tired of seeing their overly sensitive reactions and responses to everything" and "having everything I say or do be monitored and I'm tired of being told how I should be behaving." Before closing her alleged final post to social media, she closed with "my legacy can't live and die on the Internet."
