Sunday night (Aug. 28), the MTV Video Music Awards will be all about honoring Rihanna, who will receive the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. But that doesn’t mean Beyonce can’t steal the spotlight for a minute. The BeyHive may be in for a treat, because reports suggest Bey could be hitting the VMA stage.

In true Beyonce fashion, most of us won’t know if she’s performing until she steps onto the stage, but the Los Angeles Times has reported that “Beyoncé has been in top-secret rehearsals” getting ready for the show.

Beyonce may or may not be performing, but she will most likely be in attendance. The 2014 MTV Video Vanguard honoree has received a whopping 11 nominations, including Best Female Video for “Hold Up” and Video of the Year for “Formation” — both singles from her recently Emmy-nominated album, Lemonade.

As for the confirmed performers of the night, the list includes Rihanna, who will kick off the show, Kanye West, Future, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, and more.

The VMAs will air Sunday, Aug. 28, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
