About two years ago, De La Soul released their mixtape, Smell The DA.I.S.Y. Then that same year, they gave away all of their music to fans on Valentine’s Day. But their last full-fledged album was released back in 2004, with The Grind Date.

Yesterday (Aug. 26), the Long Island natives rolled out their colorful, brand new effort, and the Anonymous Nobody.

The 17-track effort features a wide range of artists like 2 Chainz, Little Dragon, Usher, David Byrne, and Snoop Dogg among others.

De La turned to Kickstarter to record this album. Thanks to die-hard fans, Soul raised over $600,000 to record this project.
