DJ Quik Threatens To Sue YG: "Run Me My Money"
Quik says he never received credit for "My Hitta."
DJ Quik is threatening to sue YG if he doesn’t get proper credit (and platinum plaques) for working on the single, ‘My Hitta.’
The Compton rap legend blasted YG and his team at Stampede Management on Twitter Sunday (Aug. 7), before deleting the tweets. “Ya’ll had me engineer and record ‘My N***a for @YG and did not give me credit,” wrote Quik. “My lawyer has you [in] his sights. You’ve f**ked up.”
He also posted a short video on Instagram with the caption, “Run me my money.”
YG reacted to Quik’s gripes early Monday (Aug. 8) morning:

Apparently, legal action was Quik’s last resort in the ongoing battle. Per TMZ, Quik claims he was promised credit on the double-platinum track -- and it looks like he’s tired of waiting.
“My HItta” (a.k.a. “My N***a”) dropped in September 2013, as the lead single off YG’s debut album, My Krazy Life.
According to Quik, he worked as an engineer and provided vocals on the DJ Mustard-produced record.
