Let Donald Trump Tell It, President Obama Is The Founder Of ISIS
During an interview with a conservative radio talk show host, Donald Trump referred to President Obama as the founder of the terrorist group ISIS. When host Hugh Hewitt attempted to clarify Trump’s statements, the Republican presidential nominee stood firm on his notion that the leader of the free world created the extremist organization.
“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS,” Trump said Thursday. (August 11) “I do. He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award. I give her, too, by the way, Hillary Clinton.”
The 70-year-old real estate tycoon originally made the comment Wednesday night in Florida. While speaking with Trump, Hewitt said he understood Trump’s statements to mean that “(Obama) created the vacuum, he lost the peace.”
Per the show transcript, Hewitt and Trump went back and forth with Hewitt warning the Republican presidential nominee his naysayers would use his statement against him. Trump however, didn’t back down, retract or amend his original statement.
“I don’t care,” Trump said. “He was the founder. His, the way he got out of Iraq was that that was the founding of ISIS, okay?”
Trump’s outlandish comment come directly after he suggested those who believe in the Second Amendment can use the law to prohibit Hillary Clinton from taking away their legal rights.
“Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” Trump said Tuesday (August 9) “By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. “But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day, if Hillary gets to put her judges in, right now we’re tied.”
CNN reports after the comment was made, the Secret Service spoke to Trump’s campaign.
