Donald Trump Says Colin Kaepernick Should Leave The U.S.
Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to acknowledge the national anthem has drawn an outpouring of criticism. The most recent public figure to throw in their two cents on the San Fancisco 49ers quarterback’s statement was GOP candidate Donald Trump.
In an interview for KIRO Radio in Seattle, Trump suggested that Kaepernick act on his grievances with the United States by leaving the country entirely.
“Maybe he should find a country that works better for him,” Trump said. “Let him try. It won’t happen.”
Monday (Aug. 29) on All In With Chris Hayes on MSNBC, Bomani Jones stepped in to comment on Kaepernick’s statement and Trump’s response.
