Lebron James Took 5,000 Kids To An Amusement Park Because He Has $100 Million Now
Lebron James just inked a three year $100 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, so that means he can A) ball out at the dollar menu or B) send 5,000 kids and their families to an Ohio amusement park because he’s such a great guy.
TMZ Sports reports on Tuesday (August 16) that as a part of King James’ “I Promise” initiative, 5,000 kids and their families spent the day at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. James teamed up with Chase Bank to fund the day’s festivities, which also offered an opportunity for a one-on-one sit down with James.
The “I Promise” initiative was created as part of a program to give children in James’ hometown of Akron a chance at a free college education if they excel in the classroom.
“It’s an honor to work with a wonderful, dedicated group of people who provide so much to Northeast Ohio – and we’re happy to provide a ‘Best Day’ experience for their program families here at the park,” a rep tells TMZ.
Very good look, Mr. James.
