“So Gone” is back for another round.
According to Forbes, sales of “So Gone” sales on Apple Music have spiked more than 400 percent and streams are up over 200 percent, since Chance’s tweeted out his edition of the #SoGoneChallenge on Aug. 10. The post was retweeted more than 240,000 and earned over 318,000 likes.
Spotify also saw an increase with streams doubling to 129 percent over the last several days. YouTube views of “So Gone” are up 309 percent. The video garnering more than 3.2 million hits to date.
Monica jumped in on the viral challenge releasing a video of her own on Instagram Wednesday (Aug. 17). The recording snagged more than 670,000 views so far.
“So Gone” was the highest charting single off the Atlanta native’s 2003 album, After the Storm. The track, co-written and produced by Missy Elliott, became a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
