Nick Cannon Enrolls As A Freshman At Howard University

It’s never too late to get your education, Nick Cannon took to Instagram Sunday (Aug 21) to announce his enrollment at Howard University. The incoming freshman looks to join a lengthy list of notable alumni at the Washington D.C. campus, that includes Taraji P. Henson and Anthony Anderson.

The 35-year-old posed in front of a Howard University sign on campus and posted an Instagram with the caption of “YOU KNOW!!!!! #HU2020 My First Day as a Freshman!!! Howard University Class of 2020″.

Naturally, the internet had some fun with the fact Cannon is bringing his 2002 Drumline movie character to life. Nick played the role of a prolific drummer in the school band as a freshman at a historically black university.

Orlando Jones also known as Dr. Lee in Drumline, posted a playful tweet going back to a popular line he relayed to Cannon in the film.

There is no word on what subject the 35-year-old will be majoring in or if he is in fact a full-time student.
