Pepsi’s 1893 Brought A Throwback Vibe To Lollapalooza 2016

As festival-goers hopped from stage to stage to catch new and chart-topping musical artists, Lollapalooza were introduced to Pepsi’s latest beverage, 1893.

On the east side of Chicago’s 319-acred Grant Park, southeast of Chicago’s Buckingham Fountain, the cola brand set up shop with a black & gold vintage truck, live music from a local DJ and a party vibe welcoming attendees to try their newest drink.

Although there are only two flavors under its belt, Original Cola and Ginger Cola, 1893 introduced Lolla goers to the refreshing drink out of sleek and premium 12 oz. cans. The blend of premium kola nut extract, real sugar and sparkling water served as a great addition to cocktails or ice cold on its own.
