Rowdy Rebel x The Culture Release Capsule Collection

Rowdy Rebel is still handling life behind bars, but that’s not stopping him from keeping his name alive in the streets. After kicking off 2016 with his Shmoney Keeps Calling mixtape, the Flatbush native has collaborated with The Culture clothing line to release an exclusive line of t-shirts. Surprisingly, the tees aren’t screaming “Free Rowdy,” however he does have a message to spread.

The shirt features a photo of Rowdy from 2014 right before Bobby Shmurda and the GS9 squad blew up, which resulted with a record deal with Epic Records. He’s chomping down on fried chicken while getting his hair braided posted up on the corner in East Flatbush where he grew up. According to his publicist Binish PR, Rowdy aims to “speak about the culture of hip-hop music” and reflect on where his GS9 crew started from with the special edition of the tee.

No matter how famous he gets, Rowdy will still support his block and won’t forget where he came from. You can cop the t-shirts now on The Culture’s official website and check out the rest of their apparel on Instagram. Free GS9!
