Shaggy Pays Tribute To Military Troops With “That Love” Video


International Reggae star Shaggy released a video dedicated to the military for “That Love.” on Saturday (August 6). The tune made its radio debut on Elvis Duran’s The Morning Show the morning prior.

As a former marine himself, the 47-year-old understands the challenges faced by soldiers with the disconnect from friends and family. Producer Scott Storch teased the song on his Instagram a few months back.

The Jamaican artist had this to say in regards to the new single,  “That Love is dedicated to our service men and women who are deployed from their loved ones. Sacrifices are made on both sides, military personnel and dependents. I personally have felt that being deployed in the first Gulf War and being away from my loved ones. We give thanks for their service. Semper Fi.”
