The Toronto native's album snags 60 million listeners on Spotify.
Thanks to Beauty Behind the Madness, The Weekend earned recognition in the Guinness World Records 2017 edition. His Grammy-wining sophomore LP is officially the most streamed album on Spotify in one year.
The 26-year-old Toronto native garnered 60 million listeners between Dec. 2014 and Dec. 2015, and also earned a plaque for the most consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 by a solo male artist.
In addition, “Can’t Feel My Face,” the album’s third single, scored 448,334,867 streams as of this past January.
Beauty Behind the Madness has sold 3 millions copies worldwide since it was released in April 2015.
