Boricua Rapper Al-Doe Puts An Opulent Spin On Pusha T & Jay Z’s “Drug Dealers Anonymous”
Puerto Rican rapper Al-Doe, 30, never wanted to be a rapper. He never considered working in music until he met Young Money’s Jae Millz, who convinced him to start writing. The Bronx representer, thereafter, began to push his pen across narratives deeply-rooted in the drug enterprise. Fast forward to 2016, and Al-Doe has emerged from the underground and climbed enough industry ladders to garner collaborations with the likes of Jim Jones, TDE’s Ab-Soul, Smoke DZA and Estelle, among others.
Al-Doe is also readying a new album that will be released this fall with the help of TIDAL. “Stained Glass Windows is executive produced by Sean C & LV,” he tells us. “The album has features from Estelle, Ab Soul, Currensy, Ro James, Dave East, Tiara Thomas, and has production from Buckwild, Wondagurl, 88 Keys, Crystal Caines, Buda da Future and GrandzMuzik, among others.”
Ahead of his upcoming project, Al-Doe exclusively premieres a new video shot in the Hamptons that captures his spin on Pusha T and Jay Z’s “Drug Dealers Anonymous.” Check it:
