YG’s 4Hunnid Record Label Joins Forces With Interscope

West Coast rapper, YG, recently signed one of the biggest deals of his career.

Interscope has been following the rapper for a while, and after sitting back and enjoying the tracks on his debut project, My Krazy Life, the label called him in for a little money talk.  After a few negotiations, the Still Brazy rapper inked his name along the line, joining his label, 4Hunnid Records, with Interscope for a multi-million dollar deal, Billboard reports.

“After the album came out and had its success, Joie Manda (President of Urban Music at Interscope), was really behind our whole movement and everything we had going on,” said YG. “[Joie] knew what I did, who I had something to do with. With the album being a classic, [DJ] Mustard popping off, Ty [Dolla $ign] popping off ’cause we all from the same camp, he felt like I could have my own label and do the same things that we did for ourselves and other artists.”

YG has been doing his thing and he believes 4Hunnid’s success stems from the hard work he put in with DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign. The men were close friends for a while, and their way of eating was getting in the studio and creating tracks for their fans. They blew up from nothing, and they’re only going to continue to go up from here.
