According To These Photos A$AP Rocky Is Hard At Work On A New Album

Rocky's producer confirms studio sessions via photos on Instagram.

It appears A$AP Rocky is back in the studio working on a new album, and he's recruited quite a veteran listening party to help. Rebel Rock producer, Jim Johnson shared a collection of photos from Rocky's studio session Wednesday (Sept. 21).

In the images Johnson shared via his Instagram account, A$AP is pictured laying down some bars for a new track. "LA recording sessions with the ever talented @asaprocky," Johnson wrote under one photo. While that might have been enough to get fans hype for what's in store, the next two images captured the Dior model with Lenny Kravitz,  as they gazed attentively ahead of the lens.

Rocky also has a friendship with Kravitz's daughter, Zoe, whom the rapper costarred alongside in the film, Dope. But this time, it looks like the two weren't discussing their mutual connections. "Amazing week of writing and recording in LA, Till next time," the caption on one of the images of the Rocky and Kravitz read. It's a little unclear if the "American Woman" singer contributed to the writing or will be featured on the album, but fans can probably look forward to seeing his name in the credits.

The title and release date for A$AP Rocky's third studio LP has not been revealed. The album will follow Rocky's At. Long. Last. ASAP, which dropped in May 2015. Check out the views from the studio below.

Missy Elliott is coming. With the release of an Instagram video featuring a celebratory dance, the legendary musician signaled that new music is on the horizon.

"I just finished a long project I been working on since last year & this my mood “Keep On Movin” I’m bout to show yall I’m on some next ish," she wrote in the caption of her video announcement on Wednesday (April 17). The video features her boppin' along to Soul II Soul's "Keep On Moving." Her hair is in braids, she's rocking gold hoops and sports a beautiful smile on her face.

The Virginia native's last album was 2005's The Cookbook, which featured the hit single "Lose Control" with Ciara and Fatman Scoop. Since then, she's released solo singles such as "WTF (Where They From)" with Pharrell Williams, "Pep Rally," and was recently featured on Lizzo's new song "Tempo."

Just because she hasn't released a full-length project doesn't mean she hasn't been busy. Missy's hard work has paid off, and she will be the first female rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame this summer. She was also recently named Berklee College Of Music's Honorary Doctorate Recipient.

We can't wait to hear what she's been up to.
