Desiigner's Felony Gun Charge Has Reportedly Been Dropped
It looks like G.O.O.D. news is headed Desiigner's way.
It looks like G.O.O.D. news is headed Desiigner's way this Saturday morning (Sept. 10). The Brooklynite's felony gun charge has been dropped by law enforcement after no weapon was found, TMZ reports.
On Thursday night (Sept. 8), NYPD officers pulled over Desiigner's SUV after another driver called in a road rage incident with the "Panda" rapper and four other passengers within his vehicle. The agitated driver reportedly told officials that following a screaming match with Desiigner, he pointed a loaded gun at him.
Once Desiigner's SUV was searched, officers found OxyContin and other prescription pills within the car's console. But Desiigner also won't face any felony charges of a controlled substance with an intent to sell, the site states.
The charges that still loom over the "Timmy Turner" rapper's head are menacing and felony possession of a controlled substance. His associates, Utril Rhaburn, C.J. McCoy, Michael Rathburn, and Scott Siegel, were also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
Rolling Stone reports that Siegel will face "charges with possession of a forged instrument," and Rathburn was hit with "unlawful possession of marijuana."
