Knowing Drake likes to pull a Taylor Swift on his concert stops, guests were anticipating a baller to stop by and show love. And while many hoped for Steph Curry or Klay Thompson, they weren’t disappointed with the newly-signed Golden State Warrior, KD.

“I want you to make some noise for my brother Trey 5, Kevin Durant,” Drake shouted. “I told you I was getting some big rings this year, boy. Oracle Arena, make some noise for my brother one time! Am I allowed to keep going? It’s your call. Let’s go, for the Bay tonight.” Durant stood before a crowd of roaring fans before Drake continued on with his set.

This is probably a pleasant surprise for Durant. After announcing that he would be trading to the Golden State Warriors from the Oklahoma City Thunder, he received a lot of backlash from Thunder fans and teammate Russell Westbrook. He was even booed before a Team USA game at the Rio Olympics. But it appears that people just needed time to get over the huge change.
