DVSN Flips Frank Ocean’s “Godspeed” Into A New Track

Music

In a recent string of remixes from DVSN, OVO’s breakout R&B duo borrowed Frank Ocean’s heartfelt tune, “Godspeed” — and gave us an amazing remix that fan should check out immediately. The original song was one on of the final cuts on Ocean’s critically acclaimed Blond album.

Unlike many R&B remixes, Daniel Daily and producer Nineteen85 gives the soul stirring song its proper respect while adding a unique polish as the distinct differences stand out — yet are very subtitle. Daily masterfully matches Ocean’s passionate vocals that creates a very powerful sounding duet, while Nineteen85 adds some sped-up drums and a few other minimalist touches to it that only adds to the stellar production.

DVSN’s amazing remix of “Godspeed” was originally premiered by Ninteen85 on OVO Sound radio after their previous run of DVSN remixing classic hits such as Aaliyah’s “One In A Million” and Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.”
