Isaiah Rashad Delivers On His Debut Album, ‘The Sun’s Tirade’

We’ve waited two years for Isaiah Rashad’s debut album. He’s had his fair share of hip-hop heads excited with the release of his freshmen EP, Clivia Demo back in 2014.

Well earlier this week, the TDE artist revealed that the reason for the long hiatus resulted from a Xanax and alcohol habit, which almost got him kicked off the TDE label. However, the Chattanooga, Tennessee native is doing much better, and the proof is the music. Today (Sept. 2), Rashad and TDE released his debut album, The Sun’s Tirade.

With 17 tracks, the album features his TDE comrades Jay Rock, and Kendrick Lamar as well his sister SZA, and SiR, Zacari, Deacon Blues Syd and Kari Faux.

On the production side, Rashad tapped Mike Will Made It, Dave Free, Cam Obi, Al B. Smoov, D. Sanders, DK The Punisher, and Steve Lacy, among others.
