John Legend Channels Andre 3000 For ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Performance


John Legend continuously adds to the list of reasons why we love him, and his lip-synced rendition of Outkast’s “Hey Ya” for Spike’s show Lip Sync Battle is the newest addition to the ever-growing scroll.

Appearing as an almost carbon copy of 3 Stacks from the 2003 visual, complete with the kelly green shirt, suspenders and straight perm, Legend continues to be a legend with a flawless interpretation of the hit. He even has Stevie Wonder accompanying him on piano, while several dancers are shakin’ it like Polaroid pictures in the background.

The other battle contestants, Olympian Michael Phelps, Olivia Munn and Terry Crews as well as wife Chrissy Teigen (who co-hosts the wildly-popular show), look on with smiles. After the show, John, Chrissy and their baby girl Luna posed with “Uncle Stevie” for pictures.
