Say What: Twitter Reacts To Ray Lewis’ Advice For Colin Kaepernick


Opinions are like hearing new music from your favorite artist. You’re either here for it and agree that it’s the best sh*t you’ve heard in a while, or you stop listening and add it to the “trash” category. In NFL legend Ray Lewis’ case, let’s just say not much enthusiasm or head-nodding went in his opinion’s direction.

During an appearance on FS1’s “Undisputed,” the former Baltimore Raven shared his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the singing of the United States’ national anthem. While sharing his stance, Lewis points out how despite his action, there still needs to be a solution and ultimately advises the San Francisco 49er to “take the flag out of it” and how he has family members who have served and will always respect that symbolic aspect of patriotism.
