Michelle Obama Says Donald Trump’s Comments Have ‘Shaken Me To My Core’

Michelle Obama is definitely not here for Donald Trump.

During a speech on Thursday (Oct. 13), FLOTUS addressed Trump’s extremely misogynist and vulgar comments towards women, while she was campaigning for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire. Obama also mentioned new allegations that have been made towards Trump for allegedly inappropriately touching women, stating that she would’ve felt “dishonest and disingenuous,” if she had not voiced this matter while campaigning.

“It has shaken me to my core in a way that I couldn’t have predicted,” she said about Trump’s comments, and a video that surfaced of him back in 2005. “This is not something we can ignore,” she said. “This is not normal. This is not politics as usual, ” adding that, “Now is the time for all of us to stand up and say enough is enough. This has got to stop right now.”

Last week, a video surfaced of Trump saying that he “just start[s] kissing women. It’s like a magnet,” and that stomach-turning line, “grab them by the p****. You can do anything.” Still, Trump and his campaign stated that these claims are false. Yet a report on The New York Times states two women have complained about him sexually harassing them. Members of Trump’s camp have demanded that the Times take the story down from its website. NYT lawyers have since responded:

Obama concluded by saying, “this wasn’t just a lewd conversation … this was a powerful individual speaking openly and freely about sexually predatory behavior…if all of this is painful to us as grown women, consider what this is doing to our children.”
