Stephen Curry Reflects On Championship Loss In New Under Armour Ad
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are back to business as the season starts today (Oct. 25). While their quest for another NBA championship has begun, Curry is ready to drop the pressures of the past in his new Under Armour commercial.
Titled “Make It Old,” the ad shows Curry and a sea of kids highlighting some of his former vices like his size, his father’s legacy and last season’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition to the Monday (Oct. 24) release, the Curry 3 also was announced. Made from parachute fibers and featuring Warriors signature colors, the company is hoping the shoe will stand as a contender against Nike and Adidas for the 8- to 18-year-old demographic, ESPN reports.
The shoe hits stores nationwide today and will run $140 a pair. Curry and his team take on the Spurs tonight at 10:30 on TNT.
