Toni Braxton Was Briefly Hospitalized For Lupus, But She’s Already Back On Tour

Toni Braxton was hospitalized in Cleveland due to complications brought on by the lupus Saturday (Oct. 15), but the health issue didn’t keep her down for long.

While the Cleveland show has been postponed, Braxton will resume The Hits tour at Chicago’s Crown Theater  Sunday (Oct. 16) night.

The R&B singer thanked fans for their “well wishes and understanding” after she was discharged from the hospital. “I am out of the hospital, and en route to CHICAGO! I can not wait to see you all TONIGHT at the Arie Crown Theater!!,” she wrote.

Braxton has been hospitalized twice in the last two weeks because of the auto-immune disease. The mother of two was diagnosed with lupus in 2010.
