According to TMZ, Kanye West has been released from UCLA Medical Center after more than a week of reports involving his unpredictable mental state.
The site reads that Kanye is not out of the woods just yet, as he must continue to have psychological and mental treatment performed even after checking out of the hospital. However, he is currently at home resting with his wife, Kim Kardashian, and their children, North and Saint.
West cancelled the last 21 stops of his Saint Pablo tour, and soon after, he was reportedly admitted into the hospital for dehydration and exhaustion. Reports later surfaced that the Chicago rapper was suffering from paranoia and severe depression. Many noted that November is the month his mother Dr. Donda West passed away, which may have triggered the episode.
Fans and media outlets reported that the musician was suffering from a mental breakdown. During what turned out to be the last two shows he performed during his tour, West praised Donald Trump as a "genius" and took verbal jabs at longtime friends and collaborators, Beyonce and Jay-Z. His final show was only 30 minutes long before he walked off the stage and told fans the show was finished.
We hope that things are headed in a positive direction. Rest up and bless up.
