Kanye West Reportedly Suffering From Paranoia And Extreme Depression

Here's hoping Yeezy gets well soon.

While Kanye West remains hospitalized more alleged details about his mental state are being revealed. West is purportedly suffering from paranoia and extreme depression, according to TMZ.

The site claims, West has long battled, with the aforementioned mental ailments, and initially believed people were out to get him — including his doctors.

It was Ye’s personal physician, Dr. Michael Farzam, who called 911 to have the rapper transported to a hospital because he was suffering from temporary psychosis brought on by sleep deprivation and dehydration.

Upon being hospitalized, West wouldn’t allow doctors to treat him, per TMZ. The 39-year-old father of two was taken to UCLA Medical Center where he is expected to remain until Monday (Nov. 28).

In the meantime, West is receiving support from fellow artists like Chance the Rapper, DMX, and Lupe Fiasco, who sent a prayer out to his Yeezy during his show in Sacramento earlier in the week.

During the heartfelt speech, Fiasco shed light on the mental toll that performing “day in and day out” can take on an artist.

“When you not performing you thinking about performing,” he explained. “And when you not thinking about performing, you performing. When you not performing, you recovering from performing. When you not recovering from performing you gotta prepare yourself to perform again. That’s hard, and every night’s not gon’ be your best night, every night not gon’ be your worst night. Every night gon’ be like every other night, we gotta take it how it is and rock wit’ it."

He continued, “And with that said, we wanna send prayers out to my big bro Kanye. He say a lot of goofy sh*t sometimes, but he from Chicago, so it don’t even f*cking matter, and I wish a n*gga would say somethin’, I’ll show you what this Chi-raq sh*t really all about,” he joked.

Getting more serious towards the end, Fiaco encouraged fans to be “patient” with West. “Go through history, look at the people that’s been in this business, gave their heart and soul to this business, the things that they lost, and things that they go through so just have patience,” he said. “Don’t let it turn into anger, don’t let it turn into cynicism, if you appreciate the work that the brother put in for you, and he supported you and helped you out from a distance with his music, just hold on to that moment. “

Lil Mama To Bow Wow: "I Will Slap The Sh*t Out Of You"

Her stage name may be Lil Mama, but Niatia Jessica Kirkland calmly yet assertively addressed disparaging comments made about her like an adult.

The 29-year-old Harlem native took to social media Saturday (Dec. 8) to vehemently refute Bow Wow's implications she was interested in him romantically and has been with several men in her past.

"I want to start this off just by saying you played yourself, kid," Mama said. "Bow Wow, you know, that in all the years that I've ever known you, you have never known a n****r to f**k me in a week. So to even give BT advice like 'Oh y'all gonna be f**king in a week.' you're being a clown."

Lil Mama then explained the only reason she invited Bow Wow to New York was to help provide a bit of stability, and that his insinuations she wanted anything more are false.

"I was trying to bring you around some real n****s. You want to commit suicide one day. You're going crazy here. You're going crazy there. I come from a grounded environment that I was trying to bring you to. We're doing a TV show. We're creating content. You are far from the type of man that I could see myself being with, sleeping with or anything of that nature."

Lil Mama didn't dwell on the topic too long, an ended her diatribe with a warning.

"There are so many things that I could address about this show, but I'm not going to let everything pull my attention. Y'all could believe what y'all want to believe...before we start talking about a female beating my ass or anything like that let's just be clear: I will smack the sh*t out of you. Period!

Buju Banton Touches Down In Jamaica Following Prison Release

Buju Banton is a free man.

The reggae and dancehall star, who served nearly eight years in prison on drug trafficking charges, headed back to Jamaica after being released  from Georgia's McRae Correctional Facility on Friday (Dec. 7).

Banton was later spotted landing at Norman Manley Airport in Kington, Jamaica where he was met by crowds of fans. Now that he's back home, Banton plans to channel his energy towards helping Jamaica's youth find employment opportunities, the country’s culture minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange told The Guardian.

Given his criminal conviction, the Grammy winner will not receive an official “hero’s welcome,”Jamaica’s minister of national security said.

Last month, Banton released a statement on social media expressing his goals for the future.“In light of the adversity I have encountered, I feel the need to stress that my only desire going forward is peace and love. I only want to be associated with my craft,” he wrote. "Having survived, I want to share the good news and strength of my music. I just want to continue making music, which I've devoted my life to. I look forward to the opportunity to say a personal thanks to my fans and everyone who supported me.”

Banton was arrested in Miami in 2009 on charges of possession and conspiracy to distribute of more than five kilograms of cocaine. He was convicted in 2011 and sentenced to a decade in prison.
