Martin Shkreli Leaks Wu-Tang's 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin' After Trump Presidential Win
The pharma-bro also plans to release unheard tracks from The Beatles and Nirvana.
Martin Shkreli managed to ruffle the feathers and please
some music fans at the same time when he leaked portions of Wu-Tang's single-copy album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.
The former pharma-bro dropped a few clips of the album via live stream Tuesday evening (Nov. 8) after Trump captured larger states like Florida and North Carolina. Pitchfork reports the 33-year-old entrepreneur purchased the album for $2 million last year and previously promised to let fans listen to it if Trump won against Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.
A few clips of the intro and one other track were heard on the live stream. They were later ripped and uploaded to YouTube. Shkreli signed a contract with the group where it noted he was unable to play the album in its entirety to the public for 88 years.
We guess it's nice to know he abided by some of the rules.
Check out the clips while you still can below.
