The Game Nets Another Loss In $10 Million Sexual Assault Lawsuit
A jury ruled in favor of the rapper's accuser.
A California jury ruled against The Game in a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit brought against him by a former contestant who appeared on his dating reality show. According to The Jasmine Brand, the jury sided with Priscilla Rainey following a four day trial that began on November 14.
Meanwhile, the Compton rapper denies accusations that he sexually assaulted Rainey during the time that she appeared on the VH1 show, She’s Got Game. Rainey sued Game last August, claiming he touched her inappropriately during a one-on-one date that was not captured on camera.
After he failed to respond to Rainey’s lawsuit, a judge ruled in her favor in February, finding the 36-year-old recording artists liable by default.
The Game blasted Rainey in an Instagram rant calling her a “transvestite” and a “dusty b*tch” who will never see the $10 million, or “anything close” to that amount.
“Don't be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines 'cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain't gettin' sh*t ! Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her,” he wrote. “She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started. She was begging for my attention the entire time we shot the show & was given the ultimate Major League Baseball CURVE ball so that upset her & made her lil wee wee hard so she did what all chicks like her do when life gives them no other options.... They sue you ! This is really a crying shame."
The amount of damages that will be awarded to Rainey will reportedly be determined by a jury, or an additional court hearing.
