Tyrese Takes To Instagram To Cope With The Third Anniversary of Paul Walker's Passing
"This is always a hard week for us."
It’s been three years since Paul Walker’s untimely death, but the age-old saying “time heals all wounds” doesn’t seem to apply in this case for the Fast and Furious cast.
Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram to mourn the death of his cast mate and friend, Paul Walker, writing that “this is always a hard week for us.” This sentiment rings true for any Paul Walker and Fast and Furious fan, as many have commemorated the star’s passing due to a fatal car crash.
But according to a post by other co-star, Vin Diesel, we should wipe the tears away and place a smile on our face for a moment, because the trailer for the “next chapter,” Fast 8, is set to release on Dec. 11.
The new movie will feature Vin Diesel and a new additional cast member, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Even though the franchise decided to continue without Paul Walker in the upcoming eighth extension of the movie series, Vin Diesel is set out to “make Pablo proud.”
“Our first instincts were to quit and stop and just be done with it," said Tyrese in an interview about continuing with the series for Paul. "Nobody wants to do interviews and be on camera trying to sell a movie and trying to get people to think and believe that we’re excited about selling this movie when our brother who’s on the poster is not alive anymore.”
He also added that Walker's family and friends have made it a tradition to break away from the responsibilities of their daily lives and mourn together since Paul's passing.
Rest in peace.
