BJ The Chicago Teases 'The Lost Files: Cuffing Season' Mixtape
BJ The Chicago Kid has made a name for himself throughout the industry through years of hard work. In 2016, it all paid off -- and he even landed himself a VIBE cover story. His In My Mind LP was well received back in February, but the 32-year-old is looking to end 2016 on a high-note with the release of his upcoming mixtape, THE LOST FILES: CUFFING SEASON, releasing tomorrow (Dec. 14).
Last week (Dec. 8), the Chicago native released the eccentric "Uncle Marvin" visual, where BJ paid homage to the soulful legend by using his uplifting vocals on the track. Check the viral video out from the Grammy nominee below.
The A Soulful Christmas artist is no stranger to giving back to his fans around the holidays. He released that project on Christmas Eve of 2013. This holiday season, the frequent TDE collaborator is doing it again with an 8-track mixtape he rediscovered on a lost hard-drive.
Make sure to give The Lost Files: Cuffing Season mixtape a listen when it releases tomorrow (Dec. 14) via Solange Saint Heron. The project is expected to contain some of his most soulful and seductive records to date with production from talented duo, Dre and Vidal.
