Lil Uzi Vert Faces Reckless Driving Charges After Dirt Bike Arrest

Music News

Lil Uzi Vert was out joyriding his dirt bike with a friend Tuesday night (Dec. 13) in Atlanta, Ga., until police realized he was not wearing a helmet or had his lights on at night. Cops say the duo raced the wrong way down a one-way street, drove on a sidewalk, and crossed five lanes of traffic without signaling, according to TMZ.

The Philly rapper reportedly sped away from the cops on bike, but eventually fell off and had to ditch the vehicle and fled on foot, but was caught along with his buddy quickly thereafter. Uzi was booked on charges of obstruction, reckless driving, not having a valid driver’s license, among other traffic violations. The “Money Longer” artist was released after posting a $6,500 bond on Friday (Dec. 9).

The arrest didn’t stop the artist from taking his bike out to the streets again, as he posted a video of him riding on Instagram yesterday, captioned, “Right Back Outchea.”
