The L.O.X. Release 2 Singles From Upcoming Album, “What Else You Need To Know” & “Don’t You Cry”

It’s great to have an array of music floating around the Web. But it’s refreshing to have hip-hop that’s raw and amalgamated with moral education — and who better does that than the Yonkers’ L.O.X.?

After announcing their forthcoming album Filthy America… It’s Beautiful, the rugged’ brothers rolled out two new songs: “What Else You Need To Know,” and “Don’t You Cry.”

The L.O.X. last studio album dropped back in 2000 with We Are the Streets on Ruff Ryders/Insterscope. After a brief stay on Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Records, L.O.X. felt like Diddy wasn’t properly sharing the wealth. Well, all of that and more is addressed on this new banger, “What Else You Need to Know.” And on “Don’t You Cry” — it’s classic L.O.X. with filled mind boggling metaphors and disrespectful lyrics.

It reminds me of Styles P on “Felony Niggas” when he raps: It’s only six nice rappers if you want to be real.

Both songs are available at iTunes, and the Filthy America…It’s Beautiful is ready for pre-order.
