You may not know Daniela Vesco by name, but you've more than likely spotted her work, given that she has captured mega moments of Beyoncé's career on camera within the past year. Currently serving as the digital design manager at Parkwood Entertainment, the Costa Rican photographer isn't taking the open doors on her path for granted.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity,” Vesco told The Huffington Post. “I realize what it is and what it means to be able to be from the country that I’m from and hopefully inspire other people to dream big. [Because] dreams come true.”
While the Latina creative has been honored to follow the Grammy Award-winning artist from the 2016 Super Bowl to the worldwide Formation Tour, she explains that contributing to Mrs. Carter's maternity album is a standout moment dear to the heart.
“Water is one of my biggest inspirations,” she said of her most proud work, featured above. “It’s kind of incredible and great that this photo was a water photo and that this is what it was for. It kind of feels right. It just fits for me.”
Working for one of the biggest names in entertainment is surely an honor, but Vesco insists that the significance of her viral shot extends beyond Queen Bey. “I think that’s my favorite photo ever, I love it, and not just because it’s her,” she continued. “For me, technically and artistically, it’s a culmination of a lot of stuff that I’ve done and practiced; and when I put it all together, I really liked the outcome.”
According to social media, the BeyHive approves as well.
