Premiere: Saga & Thelonious Martin Allow Freddie Gibbs To Vent On "Karma"
Saga and producer Thelonious Martin recruit Freddie Gibbs for some "Karma" rap.
Following the release of his Fashawn assisted single"Yesterday," Brooklyn rapper Saga and Chicago producer Thelonious Martin release their latest tune off Saga's forthcoming album. Featuring none other than Freddie Gibbs, Indiana's most prominent MC hops on the track to emphasize the effects of "Karma." Saga kicks off the record by laying down intelligent rhymes about his rough past while defending himself against all the haters.
Gangsta Gibbs steps up to the mic next, and finally drops bars in reference to his high profile legal battle overseas. Last year, Gibbs was acquitted of sexual assault charges filed in Austria. Gibbs was detained by the European country for some time before the court officially acquitted him of all charges in September.
On "Karma," Freddie doesn't give a detailed account of his trials and tribulations in Austria. He simply addresses it the best way he could put it. “Sour lemon life, I smashed the f-cking lemonade," raps Gangsta Gibbs. "Karma" will appear on Saga's upcoming album Molotov, which drops February 18th.
