Tribe Called Quest Urges Everyone To “Resist” During Electrifying Grammy Performance

Nina Simone once said it’s an artist’s duty to reflect the times, and that’s exactly what Tribe Called Quest did with their latest album We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service. The beloved hip-hop group hit the Grammy stage Sunday night (Feb. 12) to urge all those watching at home, and those at the Staple Center to resist.

Backed by Best New Artist nominee Anderson. Paak on drums, Tribe also brought Busta Rhymes and Consequence to perform “We The People” from their latest LP, along with a few oldies. The entire stadium was on their feet including Beyonce who was caught enjoying Tribe’s electrifying performance.
