50 Cent Responds To Reports Of Nixing ‘Party Tour’ Appearance Due To Financial Dispute
On Friday morning (March 31), TMZ reported that 50 Cent’s non-appearance on the bill for Chris Brown’s “Party Tour” was due to a financial dispute. The website mentions that the undisclosed amount Fifty would receive was never set in stone because the Power executive failed to sign the contract. The concert’s promoter, Live Nation, and the Queens native were Reportedly “hundreds of thousands of dollars apart” when it was time to close the deal.
The news didn’t take long to reach the fingertips of the “21 Questions” rapper. The 41-year-old mogul clarified the rumors with a short post on his Instagram account. “I would never say my friends can’t afford me,” he wrote. “This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves.”
Brown, who recently made a small screen appearance on ABC’s black-ish, continues to keep fans energized and excited for the upcoming concert with behind-the-scenes footage.
Despite the scheduling conflict, the national trek will press on beginning with its debut in Baltimore, Md., on Friday (March 31).
